“GFC stands for Grappling & Fighting Championships which means we have always wanted to have MMA.  We can finally unify the event and do everything in a cage.” Gruhn said.

“Most gyms have Muay Thai and MMA Fighters” GFC General Manager Elise Pone said.  Pone herself is a professional MMA fighter and A Class Muay Thai fighter.  With 20+ fights herself and being a 7x Muay Thai Champion, she has experience fighting in a cage in both Muay Thai & MMA.”

“Being able to fight in a cage simplifies our setup and will be great to showcase all styles of combat to the community.” Pone said.

June 16th is sure to be an exciting night of fights.  “We have 14 bouts planned for the event.” Gruhn said.
